A burger and fries might seem like the most unoriginal American dish you can think of. But this quintessential American staple can get dressed up and dressed down any way you like. Here are five places that serve some of the best and most creative burgers around Las Vegas:
Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen
Guy Fieri knows drive-thru food. The self-proclaimed mayor of Flavor Town has two joints open in the Las Vegas valley, and it is his original place where you can find his creative spin on the American hamburger. Try the Tatted-Up Turkey Burger if you’re feeling adventurous, or the Bacon Mac & Cheese burger if you want something a little more traditional. One of Guy’s key ingredients and secret weapons is his “donkey sauce” (a blend of mayo, garlic, salt, and pepper), but his creativity and ingenuity when it comes to pairing flavors is really what makes his burgers, and the rest of his menu, stand out.
If you’re looking to eat out in style, go to Pub 1842. This American pub inside the MGM is sleek, sophisticated and straightforward, just like its menu. The PB Crunch Burger is the standout item of 1842; it’s delicious, it’s creative, and it’s unlike anything else you’ll find on the Strip (or in this list). Another that get high marks for flavor and creativity is the Korean BBQ Salmon Burger, if you’re partial to fish.
For a unique take on this classic American dish, go to Bachi Burger. This Asian infusion burger joint located off the Strip made it on to the Food Network show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives for its oxtail chili cheese fries, but the Banh Mi Burger and the BBQ Bachi Burger are nothing to sneeze at. They do offer a handful of non-meat options for vegetarians, but they are slim.
If you’re staying at Mandalay Bay or the Luxor, take a walk on over to Mandalay Place and check out Burger Bar. Burger Bar features dishes made from angus beef, kobe beef, buffalo and lamb. You can choose from one of the burgers on the menu, like the Low Carb Burger or the Hangover Burger, or you can build your own.
In N Out
You can’t talk about burgers in Vegas and not include In N Out. This West Coast burger chain is all over Nevada, California, and Arizona and is one of the most inexpensive places to get a burger in Las Vegas. . The menu is simple and to the point – burgers, fries, and shakes – and the ingredients are simple. An entire meal will cost you less than a cocktail, and you’ll never have to get out of your car.
